The Queer Chef says hi bitch!!

Velkommen!

Me and Odd

Charles Ravndal or The Queer Chef is just an average guy from Bergen, Norway. He is a film student and works part-time as a web and graphic designer. He loves to eat but tends to starve lately in order to shed more kilos which is somewhat funny since he is a chef by heart. Food making is his passion though it is somewhat second to his pathetic dreams of stardom and fame. Equipped with the love of his better half, Odd Roald he braves the unfair world with optimism and sheer vibrance.

I Got A New Dog!

Sarah and Tomi during their wedding which I was one of the secondary sponsors.

December was a busy month for me. Activities ranging from weddings to Christmas shopping drove me to exhaustion. Nevertheless, I am happy for the blessings I got (despite that 2008 was not really a good year for me) and the support from my family in Norway. My father, Børre especially, who doubled my allowance since our currency (Norwegian kroner) was in its lowest point due to the financial crisis and the drop of oil prices.

This is not a good picture but I just want to show to everyone how thin and fit I am now! lol!

Also, I got a chihuahua who I named “Doggie”. Isn’t he adorable?

Okay, I am just kidding. It’s a pet simulation called Nintendogs which I got for my Nintendo DS Lite which was also my Christmas gift from my father. Speaking about gifts, my grandmother Sunniva just sent me some money while Odd told me that my present will have to wait when I come back home. But for me he was already the best Christmas present ever!

Anyway, I have nothing much to say but a million thanks to my friends and readers for the continuing support you guys gave to my blog. Kisses and hugs from moi!

Happy 2009!

P.S.

Problem of the week:
Logging on online casino, Danielle won 23,000 USD on casino poker. She smiled broadly because she had won nine times the amount more than Chris. Jennie smiled even more. She had won exactly as much as Chris and Danielle together. How much money did Jennie win?

My Christmas Laundry List

Christmas is around the corner and both my father and Odd were asking me on what I want for this season. So I came up with a list of items that I want but I don’t really need save for a few.

1. Since I gave my digital camera to my mother I have been thinking of getting a new one but in a form of a DSLR camera. I love to take pictures and probably give fashion photography a try. Buying this type of camera is a good investment because I can also use it at school especially on the multimedia classes. Now, I am researching on which camera suits me the best though I am really eyeing this Nikon D90. But I don’t really need this one yet not until I am back at school on fall next year.

2. I got a PSP on my last birthday and now I am using it primarily as an e-book reader and a media player due to lack of games that I really want. Because of that I am wanting to buy this Nintendo DS Lite. This one is not a necessity but I am bored and I need something to amuse myself. So there!

3. The latest 13-inch Macbook! Well I can probably get that on my birthday next year since I still have a functional and a year old laptop. My father usually say that it is good to change laptops or PCs once in every 2 years.

4. I am drooling over this Louis Vuitton Damier Géant Messenger NM bag. It’s just one swipe away but there is still this question of necessity. Hmmmm this one can definitely wait…

5. Cash! Since I can use a part of it to sponsor a child through the World Vision Philippines. For a 7,200 PHP or 150 USD pledge every year you can already send one child to school. In a country like the Philippines where education is not a necessity but a luxury. Poor people can’t afford that and it is sad because education is also their ticket out of poverty and to get better careers in life.

I am already dead set in signing up for this charitable cause but my father told me to wait until I am back home in Norway. Since they will also sponsor a child each or more. Anyway, for those who are interested in sponsoring a child please check the organisation’s website here. Thanks in advance.

So what’s your Christmas laundry list?

That’s all!

P.S.
